I started this post as another down lament of all the things that we are leaving, with a little list about what we are heading towards. Ugg, what a depressing way to frame it. Instead I’ll just share that I’ve had an insanely busy week of packing, visiting New York, finishing my One: Gocco Swap goodies (what was I thinking joining a swap that was due 3 days before we moved?) and even a day of working at Knit or Dye.
The next week will be the L-O-N-G drive. But there are plans for fun during the trip. There is a list of diners from Roadfood, a Great Lake to play near, a friend’s farm to visit, and numerous playground to be explored.
I’m sure there will be lots of stories to share.

I like that you turned your point of view.
I bet you are tired right now, right? Moving is so hard… But beautiful too.
I guess I asked this before, but don’t really remember (sorry!): where are you moving? Is it far from where you are now? Are you going to rent or have a house of your own? I was just trying to make the whole picture in my mind…

Julie, we’re moving to Colorado to the farm my husband grew up on. It needs a family and we need a place to grow healthfully.

Oh, wow! That’s huge! I love it.
I want to move to a healthier place, maybe the seaside will make it. To have a small garden and lots of trees…
I don’t know how tough the farm work is, but it sounds appealing. I bet it’s a lot of work.
And you will be happy there!
